Dark Side of the Moon

Dark Side of the Moon,

I want to bathe in your lunar silk dust
To discover your enigmas within me lust
Enchanting magnetism of high-tide powers
You form daily at those majestic hours

Grasping this bare truth of your toil
How I long to stand on your stellar soil
And be closer to your sisters and brothers
These stars I wish upon many others

Painting your beams on my canvas raw
Of moonlit wolves howling and crows caw
Legends carry on of your prominent giving
On murals, in hearts and poems living

As you watch me from your afar flight
Nightly I seek your glowing diffused light
And while aware are many but sleepy few
In secret you uphold yet another skew

We spin in your spectacle moons dance
As each night at you I ponder and glance
Mostly though using my naked human eye
Yet at times with telescope I do spy

Sea of your Tranquility is so stunning
While your darkest side remains cunning
And stylishly steady to reveal so unwilling
The subzero darkness must be chilling

Alluring is your shady the unseen face
Wishing to discover and unveil this place
The vast secrets lying buried in silvery sand
Many would disbelieve yet lend a hand

Axis remains still while you revolve
As living coexist and continues to evolve
Every new century new craters must appear
While you protect us from a deadly fear

My dearest moon please I beg do tell
Come whisper to me in my dreamy spell
Revealing to me your dark side of the moon
I would just die to know so do come soon

I will wait for hours at my windowsill
Welcome your beams inside silver to spill
And lay my head to rest but dreaming of you
As you raise me up and dip me in dew

Sprinkle me with your midnight delight
Assist and pull me while I take the flight
And do carry me onto your moons dark side
Where I can release and no longer hide

To feel freely uncovered in your facade
Revealing this naked truth to moon-bathe
There are so many secrets we each do keep
I shall tell you mine once yours you seep
